I am an experienced, professional freelance makeup artist and holistic aesthetician with a passion for natural and organic beauty. As a 20 year veteran in the spa + wellness industry my journey has happily led me to creating beautiful faces with professional non-toxic and natural products that I can wholeheartedly get behind. Additionally, I offer facial sugaring, brow artistry, holistic facials and personalized makeup lessons. As a former ballerina and classically trained dancer I was no stranger to makeup, primarily stage make up. I loved the artistry of painting faces from an early age, often making up the faces of my fellow company dancers. After retiring from the dance world, I found myself interested in the beauty industry. Being a military spouse and raising a family, I decided a career in the beauty industry could serve me well - and complimented our frequent moves and changing assignments. As a result, I’ve worked for several incredible destination spa’s such as Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa Mystic, The Flowering Almond Spa, VA; The Spa of Colonial Williamsburg, and Elemis Spa. All amazing experiences, but something was happening. Over the years I began to have mysterious reactions to the products I was using. My exposure to these products and mainly the irritating ingredients inside them were having an adverse effect on MY health. This got me thinking and so began my awakening.

I left the corporate spa industry to pursue my dream of working along side like minded beauty professionals. Over the years I have learned from clean beauty pioneers such as Indie Lee, Rebecca Cassiano and Rose Marie Swift to name a few. My passion for providing clean beauty services continues on as I move forward and launch Lorna Made Me Blush Artistry ~ your stop for bridal makeup with a conscious.
